Buying Back The Past
Te Reo Mārama collected various Māori related items from internet sites. It has been amazing to see what actually comes up for trade on these sites. They range from 1920-30s cigarette cards to highly ornate carved cigarette boxes. Obviously there is a link with the use of tobacco and the production of paraphernalia that goes with normalising the practise of tobacco use and addiction.
