There has been a marked drop in Māori smoking rates over the past 5 years. After years of 1 in 2 Māori smokers there is now a trend downwards towards 1 in 3 Māori smokers within both taiohi/youth and adult rates.
Māori are joining the tobacco resistance movement every second, minute, hour, day, month and year!
